Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is a lawyer from Lebanon and British activist from London and has an estimated net worth of $50 million. Amal Clooney is well-known for her character as the wife of actor George Clooney. She previously worked for the United Nations and British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. In the year 2020, she resigned from the post. She is currently an Doughty Street Chambers barrister. She is an expert in human rights and international law. Amal Alamuddin was conceived in Beirut, Lebanon on February 3rd 1978. Amal is a name that in Arabic is "hope" was moved to England at the age of two years old, along with her family. They moved to Buckinghamshire. Her family left Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. However, her father returned to Lebanon after the year 1991. As a young girl she lived with three siblings in an all-girls college. After finishing secondary school, Amal was accepted into St. Hugh's College in Oxford. She received a BA degree in Jurisprudence in the year 2000, after being awarded numerous times in recognition of her academic achievements. In 2001, she completed her postsecondary studies at the New York University School of Law to prepare for her LLM degree. She was an assistant clerk to Judge Sonia Sotomayor as she was enrolled in New York.
